Garth Tander
Garth Tander was born on the 31st March 1977 in Perth, Western Australia is an Australian V8 Supercar driver. He raced with the Garry Rogers Motorsport V8 team until the end of 2004, then with HSV Dealer Team. In December 2007, following his championship triumph it was announced Tander was to join the Holden Racing Team for 2008 and would carry the number 1 plate with him.
Tander is married to fellow racer Leanne Tander, who races in the Fujitsu V8 Supercar Series series. The two run a racing team which competes in the Australian Formula 3 Championship called TanderSport. For 2010 the team plans to expand into Formula Ford.
